Sena goes Nippon!

Sena will go to Japan for almost 2 months from 7/1, but I am not going to..(T__T)

Devo-O will go with her instead of me...( he is another version of me..)

Finally!! I made my own store for my creation,
MARILLAVANILLA
from long time ago, since I was a kid, I love to draw characters, and
love to make plush figures, love to make hats and clothes.
And now, one of my dream is to see many people in all over the world
would make smile with my parturitions.
My first painting book, and two new design t-shirts will come out by the end of this month.
And I am going to ANIME EXPO for signing...Anime Expo,,come to see me with costume on!! (>__<)

Giant Robot 15 years!!

WA~OH!! 15 years,, first time when I saw the magazine,, it was not fancy like now yet cool, that is how I remember, heard one student at UCLA made the magazine, thought really cool again, and then first time when I went to the store on Sawtelle Blvd,, I was like" he~y! reminds me of cool stores in Japan", and became one of my favorite store to go to see,,

and now I am the one of artists who will contribute for its 15 years' celebration!!
HOORAY!!

Kent painted Toshiro Mifune for the theatrical poster of "RASHOMON" a little while ago,
and I GOT ONE!! Looks really nice with good print, I can see crispy edges,,.

By the way, here is the original poster for the movie in 1950 in Japan, Kent wants to get one, so I will try to find one for him using my Japanese connection,,well maybe I can find at comicon, but whatever that is,,

GAKE NO UENO PUNYO

I just found out there will be screening finally at 2009 LA Film Fest, so I was trying to get its detail information and I found the line goes.....Featuring the voices of Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon, Tina Fey, Liam Neeson, Noah Cyrus, and Frankie Jonas...
"WHAT???"
"WH~Y,,,,"
"Sena! it is dub! do you still wanna go to see?!"

"NAH~~~!!!"

"NAH~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I am really disappointed.

cannot go back either...

Sena asked me to make one for her...
And so I did.

She brought out her album and showed me how she looked when she was 5.
I was trying to visualize her as 5, but it was kind of hard to do so..

She said to me,"DID U FORGET???"
Ha..ha.. I just did not remember her hair style,, that was all though...
(Well,,actually,,,need time to make myself clear to do so,, you know,, it was long time ago..)


And it was actually really fun to make it.

I tried to get out the MEMORIES from the drawer in my brain,
in order to get the images of,,what kind of clothes she was wearing, what did she like???
And I thought about Sailor Moon,
I was drawing Sailor Moon characters, and Sena was just all Sailor Moon...Wait a minute!
That was when she was just 3.4 year~s old.... Yeah,,!
Now I really remember..Ha ha
Anyway,
I just tried to draw Sailor Moon again,,, and I enjoyed doing that and actually I thought,, she is really beautiful...
As character design, she is really good..!!
Well, or how come my lovely Sena was addicted to... and of course, I read all comics and saw the first Sailormoon movie and cried..serious..


Sena told me when she saw the drawing,
just..
"WOW"
She agreed with me how beautifully complicated the design of eyes were..
and told me,,
"Wha~t I was smaller when I love sailormoon~ I loved POKEMON!"
yeah~ I totally remember now... sorry Sena...
