What I have learned

I took a background painting test last week, and yesterday, I got the result. I was not able to get the job..
I was trying not to expect too much positive, but I thought I would be able to work with my favorite friends.
I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sad.
I still hope there will be ways to work with my favorite friends someday soon..I do not want to give up..but It hurts.

I hope I can go to have drink with my friends and get drunk crazy this weekend...yes I am dramatic..why not anyway...

What am I doing..

Sunday afternoon,, I just finished my freelance job to make style frames for a commercial pitch pack..I hope they will work for getting a big job! however, while I had been working on that project and another project, I had been thinking about what I want to do next, and what I need to do next. and made me frustrated... you cannot do what you want to do AT ONCE anyway.
It is 100% sure, first I need to paint to finish up 5 paintings sitting behind me right now, they are all my new characters.. I love to paint characters, which are animals, creatures, monsters with stories to make them alive..,( besides I am thinking to develop them in as children books, or animtion..toys and stuff) Sometimes there are too many of them inside of my head, so that I cannot even think and see real world I am in,, well here is the proof of what I am thinking all the time.. people..check this out!
I finally found CLUTTER MAGASINE# 9I am in.. you can still order it...but I put the article, so you can read it actually only first page, since I cannot upload big image,,,well still hope it is ok putting article on net.... well I know...Elizabeth did it.. so it is ok right? Check out this site,AIR It is super fun!, why because you are able to see hippest Japanese animation studios' short animation films!..
my favorite is "ぽぷぱら”(just click light green icons, you can see these characters animations! I believe you can laugh without understanding Japanese.. )
well...not only able to watch animation shorts, you are able to get most of all information about what is going on in animtion, game, film industries..wow.. need time to check out all....
and here is my exciting news!! my two animation shorts will be on AIR!!!
"Blue and Orange" will start from April 20th...and "Piece of Hope" will start from April 27th.
my nipponseifuku begins..muha ha ha---!

here is my new commission piece...I haven't finished yet...........I have been buzy doing something else.....
but. I believe I would be able to have freeeeeee time! from next week,, again...since I will finsh my freelance job by the end of this week.....well. well..

Thursday afternoon...at OISHII production

I think I am super luckey to see cool new people......here is one of them,I got a new friends from my new work. Alex who shows me a WAY(yin and yang),
one day, I told him, how much I got excited and inspired from one artist and she is still 26 years old, and sells her oil painting which is geniously awesome gooD,,700,000 dollars..yes just awesome.
and he said to me,
" you make things to show, or to sell 700,000 people... how cool is that...."
...see?! you know what I mean.
I thought that I want to make things to go to all over the world....in many different way..
there are a lot of things happening right now.....
I will do my best for everything.
and guess what..?
I played Wii at my new work!! YEY!!!!! my another new friend,WEIRAN just brought from home,,,,!!!! thank you! It is just amazing, I played real bowl!! can you believe that...?
and I killed some people sitting behind me.......
I mean in the game...
there are actually 360c animated enviornment going on...well of course,, but......
I through a ball and it went to behind me, and there are some audience in the sheets moved crazy,,,,
funny.....

New paintings,"fish dish"1 and 2 for Power In Numbers at Nucleus

I have started painting. This is my second week being in OIL smell, and feeling good..
I have been painting for a commission and for some group shows.
Here are two of tiny paintings I did for Power in Numbers show at Nucleus. I finished last week, they are water color paintings, so I did not take long time..... I like them.
If you remember, I did another set of paintings, which title was "fish dish" for last year Power in Numbers show, so I did same title but different characters this year.. I thought that it would be fun to do series for same show...
The opening date is May 12th... so I will post later around the time again...
And I will be in a group show for a brand new gallery "WINDUP GALLERY" in Phenix, Alizona in May.
and for a group show at "Gallery1988 SF" in June.
and I need to start painting for my second solo show at NUCLEUS in November.
So awesome to be in OILPAINTING mode.....

by the way.
one of my another dream comes true!! yey yey..
I designed a ROBOT, yes finally, I cannot show you yet, it is confidential, and in progress, but you know, that means something will happen soon..yey! My Robot will take you a dream world... soon.......ha ha ha...(>_<)!!
